Q. hi hoping someone can help me in the past ive ha 10 crowns done on the nhs this was due to illness and traetment cause alot of discoloure ect my dentist stopped acepting nhs and i cant afford private since then ive managed to find a nhs dentist dispite losing my front crown twice it has now got a large gap and they are now extremly large i have had then 24 years she wont replace them im really struggling i cant clean them properly as they are so sensitive i am now constantly putting my hand over my mouth to laugh i have tried all my life to look after them now i just feel ive been left as not being able to go private i also have a constant sore upper middle lip as it actual gets caught in the gap at my front teeth causing it to ulcer my dentist suggested surgery to have the excess skin removed?ive had enough surgery to last a lifetime yet i never had this when my crowns wernt gapped can you help i live in hants thanks,
A. I guess you need to find another NHS dentist in your area who might be able to offer you a solution to your problems. You may be best to speak to friends who might be able to recommend a local dentist
