It is suspected I have Osteonecrosis. Am I a candidate for dental implants?

June 17th, 2011
Q.
It is suspected I may have Osteonecrosis, I have gum shrinkage and bone loss in an area that currently has a bridge, (3 molars). My specialist (NHS) recommends removing the bridge and fitting a denture. Would I be a candidate for dental implants.,

June 13th, 2011
Q.
hi, ive recently got a dental bridge fitted in, after having a denture for around 6 months. however i am now suffering from quite a bad lisp. is this because the bridge is fitted in wrong, or do i just have to get use to my bridge and it will sort it out itself?,

Why do prices of different implant types vary so greatly?

June 4th, 2011
Q.
I have 3 crown & posts in my front top teeth which my dentist tells me won\’t last forever as they are on the thickest post possible now. What sort of implant would you suggest and why do the prices vary so much between £700 – £3000 per implant. Kind regards ,

Would it be worth getting a mini implant to replace my dental bridge?

June 2nd, 2011
Q.
I have been attending the glasgow dental hospital for the past year since my bridge fell out. I was hoping to get an implant but the space is too small for this. therefore I am getting a bridge. However, I would much prefer something more permanent and wondered if it would be worth looking into getting a mini implant through a private practice. Since I was born without this tooth I am entitled to free treatment through the NHS but the process has taken a considerable amount of time and I am eager to get a permanent resolution rather than another bridge. They have not mentioned a mini implant so not sure if this is not available through the NHS. to be honest the whole process has been a nightmare and I would really like a permanent solution that is not too costly as I am only 21 years old.,
