Q. Are there any risks to the dental implant procedure or is it a fairly simple and safe procedure? No chanc of infection or anything like that?
A. implant placement is a surgical palcement , so like any surgical procedure there are certain risk. Risks are dependable on where the impalnt is placed.
There is always a minimal risk of infection but this is dependable on
1. systemic health of patient
2. are they following the right post operative instructions
