I am in need of dental treatment, but there are no available dentists nearby. Any advice?

Q. My dental state is very bad at the minute and being out of work, I am having to rely on NHS until I get back on track employment wise. The problem is that my regular dentist suddenly died two years ago half way through my treatment and reconstruction service. The surgery was closed as a result and I was offered no alternate surgery nor any help if finding another surgery willing to invest the time and effort into giving me my smile back. I am extremely self conscious, I never smile. My left canine basically disintegrated and broke leaving me with an interrupted smile. All the surgerys in my area and within a 50 mile radius are not accepting new patients and havent been since this occured. From my own observations, I need several fillings, some polish and hygiene work, and obviously either an implant or bridge on my upper left canine. Is there any advice you could offer me, my dental state is really affecting me emotionally and mentally. Thanks in advance,,
A. Sorry to hear about your plight. I no longer have any contact with the NHS as I soley provide treatment on a private basis. Therefore, I am not really in any position to give you much advice on this. Good luck though, contact your local PCT and see if they can point you in the right direction.
