hi, i am about to have my two front teeth roots extracted after a cycling tumble! the posts of the crowns split the roots. i’m confused as to what is best, the same day implants or waiting for six months and having the implant done then? i have already paid for the extraction and partial plate as i thought the later was more reliable.i seem to be getting conflicting information. if i went for the same day implants could i do that the day after extraction at another practise? many thanks,

I personnaly like to place the implants at the time of extraction if the case is suitable. You’ll need careful pre-op assessment to check but this works well for lots of patients. I’m not sure having the treatment done as you suggested is a great idea, see if your implant dentist could take out the teeth and place the implants at the same time. Good luck with whatever you choose.
